Elie Sasson, Green Dream Tours Nepal founder, leads every tour.
I fell in love with Nepal during my semester abroad in Kathmandu in 1987. Over the years I was repeatedly drawn to this magical place to trek and further explore its rich culture. After living and working in Nepal for over a year, I learned to speak the local language.
To help travelers get a deeper experience and to share my passion for this magnificent part of the world, I created Green Dream Nepal Tours. We specialize in five-star accommodations, transportation and service, with top-level, professional guides for our private tours.
My career as a guide started in San Francisco, leading cultural and sightseeing tours of the city. When customers began requesting trips to the Sonoma and Napa wine country, I bought my first bus and Green Dream Tours was born. Still, Nepal called to me, and I now conduct tours of both areas.
Responsible Travel in Nepal
I believe in practicing responsible travel and trekking on all levels: socially, environmentally and economically. We make every effort to leave as small a footprint as possible on the local environment and community. I support the community by hiring small, local businesses and contractors and providing full medical coverage to our guides and porters.
In addition, my company follows green practices for all activities both in Nepal and in the US.

When I launched Green Dream Tours Nepal, my vision was to set us apart from the standard tour companies. That’s why our private tours offer a unique combination of trekking and cultural learning, with a custom-tailored itinerary and the highest level of Western quality service.
Local Nepali guides and Western expats will lead you through sightseeing in Kathmandu, classes and seminars on language, culture and religion, a trek through the Himalayas and more.
Optional excursions include a jungle safari, white-water rafting and mountain biking.
In addition to designing each tour from beginning to end with extensive client consultation, I personally lead all of the tours. I will be with you every step of the way, to ensure a smooth-running and well organized tour.
The result is a high-value experience unmatched by any other tour operator or private guide.
