What is the ideal length of time to spend in Nepal?

Nine days would be the absolute minimum, although we recommend 14 to 28 days.

What is a trek?

A trek is a multi-day hike in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal.

How long is the trekking portion of the tour?

Three days minimum, but up to three weeks or longer if you like.

What is the difficulty level of the trek?

Each trek is customized according to the ability and desire of each client. We will make sure the trek is well suited to your ability.

What physical condition do I need to be in to go trekking?

You need to be physically fit in general. Extremely overweight people should not go trekking. You need to be able to walk on average 4 to 6 hours per day. If you question your physical condition, consult your doctor and get the approval of your doctor.

Do we need to carry heavy backpacks while trekking?

No. Porters will carry your backpack or bag. You will only carry a light day-pack with water, extra clothing, and personal items such as a camera, lip balm, etc.

Can I take a tour to Nepal and not go trekking?

Yes, we can arrange that for you, but most visitors to Nepal do go trekking.
